Gluten Grain Free Pasta Bake

Gluten Grain Free Pasta Bake

Please note this is not vegan. Please double check all your ingredients are gluten grain free before you add them to this bake

Total Prep /cooking time about 30 minutes

The pasta held its shape perfectly.

 

Ingredients

Olive oil

1 onion finely sliced

1 clove garlic crushed

1 chilli finely sliced

¼ cup basil ripped

3 rashes bacon fat removed sliced fairly fine (make sure its gluten free)

500g mince meat

1 jar passata sauce

Mozzarella cheese grated

Parmesan cheese grated

1 packet of gluten grain free pasta

 

  1. Heat a small amount of olive oil in saucepan
  2. Add onion, garlic, chilli and bacon stir occasionally until onion soft and bacon cooked
  3. Add mince and brown
  4. Add passata sauce and basil; simmer for about 5 minutes or until sauce a thickish consistency
  5. Heat oven to a medium to high heat
  6. Meanwhile bring a large saucepan of water to boil, add gluten grain frees pasta and cook for 1 minute
  7. Rinse pasta in cold water. Then gently stir pasta into pasta sauce. Place mixture into an oven proof dish, cover with cheeses
  8. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the top is golden.
